People of Purpose
We are a faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on reaching the youth of America and the world both inside and outside the church with the message of hope, healing, and purpose through Jesus Christ. We work with various churches of all denominations, organizations, schools, and sports teams to mentor and speak to youth, young adults, and families! Our heart is to raise up young leaders that will infiltrate every area of culture and business to influence and make an eternal impact in our world. We believe that God has placed gifts, talents, and abilities in everyone and we are on a mission to speak to young people across America to awaken that God-given purpose within today’s generation! Simply put, we are missionary evangelists to America’s Youth.
About Tim:
As an evangelist and missionary to America’s youth, Tim has a passion to reach this generation with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. He has the desire to see young people walk in the freedom and power that Jesus offers, and to see them discover their life’s purpose. Upon graduating from Rollins College, where he played soccer on a full scholarship, Tim went through a seven-year soul-searching period trying to figure out who he was and his life’s purpose.
Growing up as the son of an Assembly of God pastor, Tim received invaluable insights into the inner workings of ministry; the dedication to prayer, the knowledge of the word, and the patience it takes to become involved in ministering to the lost. He and his wife Karla, now live in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Tim is an avid surfer that has surfed across the globe, and is also a decorated soccer player. He has been involved in coaching soccer for over 15 years and uses it as a vehicle to reach into the community. He believes that effective ministry to today’s youth is very time sensitive and requires reaching outside the church walls. Tim’s heart is to reach the lost, disciple them, and to raise and train young people to become godly leaders in their schools, workplaces, and in their chosen careers.
About Karla:
A native of El Salvador, Central America, Karla grew up there and in the United States. Her heart’s desire is to see this generation transformed by the power of Jesus Christ and to see them fulfill the purpose that God created them for. Karla travels with her husband, Tim, to speak to young people and on mission trips, where she interprets for him in Spanish. She has a heart for worship and seeing young people encounter the presence of God. She has a passion for Arts and has created dramas, skits, and human videos. She loves to make the message of God’s Word come to life in a relevant and tangible way.
Karla and Tim currently live in Altamonte Springs, Florida, and work together to reach the youth of their community. Karla has created and directed several Girls Conferences. She is gifted in working with teenage and young adult girls. She is passionate about guiding them toward a life of mental, emotional, and sexual purity.
